Types of Onga Pool Filters
There are two main types of Onga pool filters: cartridge filters and sand filters. Jandy Cartridge filters like the Pantera pool filters are cylindrical tanks with a paper element inside. They're really compact for the filtration area they provide making the Onga Pantera a top choice for pool owners with limited equipment space.
Tip: If an Onga filter cartridge is clogged, it can usually be cleaned by giving it a good hose down with a Water TechniX Waterwand or a soak in some specially formulated Water TechniX Filter Cleaning Solution to melt away any dirt and grime that's stubbornly clinging to your Onga Pantera filter elements.

Pro Tip: When choosing Onga Pantera pool filters, it’s always better to oversize. Oversizing your pool filter means that you will have longer cycles in between filter cleaning. Oversized Onga filters will also reduce the overall stress on your pool pumps by allowing your pool filters to catch more dirt and debris before the pressure increases.
BUT when choosing a replacement Onga filter element, be sure to get the exact same model of your existing Onga cartridge filter!
