Emaux Sacrificial Anode Pool Shield
Product Description
The shield is built in Zinc Sacrificial Anode that protects the bather from electric shock risk, especially in the fiberglass pool without metal bonding. Also, it prevents electrolytic corrosion of pool metal parts when saltwater chlorinator disinfection system is applied, such as stainless steel ladder, heat pump heat exchanger, UV-C stainless steel casing, lighting stainless steel niche, pump motor aluminum housing, and salt chlorinator titanium cell plates.
How it works
1.Sacrificial Anodes Shield is used to prevent other metals from eroding. This inline zinc anode has already secured in a PVC TEE ready for installation.
2.Once installed, the sacrificial anode will be consumed, instead of eroding other metal components surrounding the pool such as aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, and titanium.
3.The Sacrificial Anode Shield is tied into the pool bonding wire to protect the entire pool.
4.The anode should be replaced after half of it has been eroded, typically in about three years.
How to install
1.Cut pipe to size of the “TEE” shape shield.
2.Glue “TEE” into pipe.
3.Connect Copper wire to existing pump groundusing split connector.
Typical installation and location
The best place for installation of the shield is on the water line between the filter and before a pool heater, that would put it before the salt cell. Without a heater, the shield should be put after the filter and before the cell.

Bulky and Oversized Shipping - Items marked as "Bulky & Oversized" will incur a shipping charge at checkout calculated by your location. These orders may require the customer forklift to unload, OR if a forklift is not available, hand unload by the customer will be required.
International Shipping - International Shipping (rest of the world) - Cost calculated at checkout, Estimated delivery time for international orders is 5 - 15 business days.
New Zealand Shipping - Cost calculated at checkout. Estimated delivery time for New Zealand orders is 3 - 7 Days.
Remote Shipping - Due to some regions of Australia being remote, we cannot ship to these locations for free of charge regardless of the spend amount. If we can ship to them a cost will be calculated at checkout, if there is no shipping option at checkout our carriers cannot reach your location.

Returns Policy
Mr Pool Man offers easy 60 day returns for peace of mind.
- Made an incorrect purchase? No problem, all orders that were incorrectly purchased or “change of mind” will simply incur a small $10 return shipping label fee that will be deducted from your refund, as this is what it costs to get your order back to us.
- From there, providing you use our Returns Centre, your return is fully tracked on its way back to us. Your return will then be processed within 10 business days of being delivered at Mr Pool Man.
- Any initial shipping costs are not refunded.
- If you are returning an order that is outside of the 60 day returns window, please contact us with your order details.
- Excluded products from returns due to change of mind are: Pool Cover(s), Pool Roller(s), Pool Heater(s), Filtration media (glass & sand), Mineral salts, S.R Smith Rails, Slides and Accessories, and Acoustic Boxes, are not eligible for return, unless standard warranty policies apply.
- "Pre-Order" products which are custom ordered in will incur a 20% restocking fee of the product price. Suppliers also charge the same restocking fee to Mr Pool Man to return goods to them. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
