The Water TechniX Calcium Down Decreases Calcium Hardness in swimming pools. Essential for water balance. Helps protect pool surfaces and equipment reducing scale formation in concrete, pebble & tiled pools & spas. Also aids in lightening unwanted stains. Hardness level should be kept in the 150-500 ppm range.

Bulky and Oversized Shipping - Items marked as "Bulky & Oversized" will incur a shipping charge at checkout calculated by your location. These orders may require the customer forklift to unload, OR if a forklift is not available, hand unload by the customer will be required.

International Shipping - International Shipping (rest of the world) - Cost calculated at checkout, Estimated delivery time for international orders is 5 - 15 business days.

New Zealand Shipping - Cost calculated at checkout. Estimated delivery time for New Zealand orders is 3 - 7 Days.

Remote Shipping - Due to some regions of Australia being remote, we cannot ship to these locations for free of charge. If we can ship to them a cost will be calculated at checkout, if there is no shipping option at checkout our carriers cannot reach your location.

Returns Policy

Mr Pool Man offers easy 60 day returns for peace of mind.

  • Made an incorrect purchase? No problem, all orders that were incorrectly purchased or “change of mind” will simply incur a small $10 return shipping label fee that will be deducted from your refund, as this is what it costs to get your order back to us. 
  • From there, providing you use our Returns Centre, your return is fully tracked on its way back to us. Your return will then be processed within 10 business days of being delivered at Mr Pool Man.
  • Any initial shipping costs are not refunded.
  • If you are returning an order that is outside of the 60 day returns window, please contact us with your order details.
  • Pool Cover(s), Pool Roller(s), Pool Heater(s), Selected S.R Smith products, Filtration media (glass & sand), PCB Control board(s) and mineral salts are not eligible for return, unless standard warranty policies apply.
  • "Pre-Order" products which are custom ordered in will incur a 20% restocking fee of the product price. Suppliers also charge the same restocking fee to Mr Pool Man to return goods to them. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Works great for removing calcium deposits

We have a high level of calcium in our water which has lead to calcium deposits in the pool and on equipment, the Calcium Down works great for reducing those levels and making the scaling disappear
